Rabbi Netanel Wiederblank comes from Silver Spring, MD, and studied in Kerem B'Yavneh and Chevron before attending college, semikhah, graduate school, and Kollel Elyon at Yeshiva University. Currently he is a Magid Shiur at YU where he teaches college and semikhah students Talmud, Halakha, and Jewish Philosophy. Rabbi Wiederblank has served as rabbi at the Yeshiva Community Shul (Shenk Shul) in Washington Heights since September 2015. His book Illuminating Jewish Thought: Explorations of Free Will, the Afterlife, and the Messianic Era has recently been published by YU Press and Maggid Books. It is the first in a three-volume series exploring topics in Jewish Philosophy. Rabbi Wiederblank has served as Scholar in Residence at a variety of synagogues throughout North America. Sara Wiederblank teaches Chumash and Navi at Machon Ora in Passaic, NJ, and teaches kallos in Washington Heights. In addition, she has published two children’s books, five novels, and a collection of short stories, and is a frequent contributor to Binah Magazine. Rabbi Wiederblank and Sara are the proud parents of Leah, Ruchama, Shoshana, Ahuva, Yosef Mordechai, Bracha, Moshe, and Rachel, each of whom is their favorite child.
